Digital Camera Binoculars Reviews

Here is a list of the digital camera binoculars on the market and there features. On the right hand side you can find price comparison and more product information.

Bushnell 8x32 Instant Replay 18-0833

The Bushnell Instant Replay 8x32 digital camera binocular is the top digital camera binocular, outclassing the competition with better optics and camera features. Other digital camera binoculars add a fixed-focus digital camera between the two binocular barrels, Bushnell builds the 3.2-megapixel camera into the binoculars so they focus together (down to 11 feet), which eliminates parallax distortion, a major problem about other digital binoculars. The Bushnell Instant Replay 8x32 digital camera binocular takes stills and 320x240 video clips in continuous loops, and an "instant replay" feature lets you save the last 30 seconds of footage. You can play them on a TV or download images to a PC or a Mac. 15mm eye relief also makes the Bushnell 8x32 camera binoculars a great choice for eyeglass wearers. Comes with a two-year warranty.

Bushnell Compact 8x30 Instant Replay 11-8323

The Bushnell Compact 8x30 Instant Replay digital binoculars are the less expensive version of the 8x32 Bushnell Instant Replay binoculars. The main difference between the 8x30 Instant Replay and the 8x32 Instant Replay digital camera binoculars the 8x30 Instant Replay can only focus as close as 60 feet, compared with 11 feet on the more expensive 8x32 Bushnell Instant Replay, the 10mm eye relief isn't enough for eyeglass wearers (the 8x32 has 15mm eye relief) and the camera is a 3.1 megapixel. The cheaper Instant Replay camera binoculars do have their benefits too. The Bushnell Compact 8x30 Instant Replay digital binoculars weigh less (14.5 ounces compared to 25 ounces) and can record video at a faster frame rate of 30 frames per second (resulting in smoother video). Both Bushnell digital binoculars have a two-year warranty.

MagPix 10x25 SX3

The MagPix SX3 digital camera binoculars weigh only 9.6 ounces. These Lightweight camera binoculars are recommend for action shots in bright daylight, its camera can focus as close as 40 feet and you can save up to 30-second instant-replay clips. The down side is the MagPix SX3 takes lower resolution 320x240 video and the 10-mm eye relief is too short for people who wear glasses. Also the Bushnell Instant Replay digital camera binoculars both shut off after 5 minutes of non-use, but the MagPix stays on until the batteries run down.

Meade CaptureView 8x30 CV-6

The Meade CaptureView digital binoculars aren't as good as the Bushnell Instant Replay due to inferior optics, the small LCD doesn't flip up, there's no TV-out and only 11mm eye relief. But the Meade CaptureView digital binoculars are waterproof and if you need all weather digital camera binoculars, being waterproof may override the drawbacks. The Meade CaptureView has 3.2 megapixels of resolution for stills and 320x 240 video (with instant-replay clips up to 20 seconds) and the camera can focus as close as 30 feet. These camera binoculars are also sold as the Simmons 8x30 CaptureView 822221

Bushnell 10x25 ImageView VGA 11-1025

The Bushnell ImageView camera binoculars are budget digital binoculars that have a poor image quality and the 640x480 pixel photos turn out grainy. The ImageView digital binoculars do take short video clips, but there's no instant-replay feature. The 10mm eye relief means these are not recommended for eyeglass wearers. But for the cheap price, these compact camera binoculars are a fun gadget.
